Morton’s Neuroma
Morton’s neuroma is caused due to the swelling of the inter metatarsal plantar nerve, usually involving the third and fourth inter metatarsal spaces. It is not a true tumor formation rather a fibrous tissue formation around nerve tissue. Pain on carrying weight, shooting pain while causing pressure are symptoms of this disease.
